Low Poly Girl

Some time ago (many ages ago, when YouTube and tutorials were a thing of the future), I was still gaining experience creating 3D characters. To practice, I started making male models because it was easier to find references; a mirror was enough, and I had a male reference free available. Over time, I got better at making figures like this, the problem was that they all looked like me. So I thought, "I'll sit in a square and watch people pass by, and with a pad of paper and pencil in hand, sketch characters based on those figures". Obviously, my drawing skills aren't the best, but I was looking for geometry—the curves, lines, and spheres that make up a body. When I put the experience into practice, I realized there was little to change in the male figure, but a lot to learn about the female figure. So I focused on sketching different women body types, clothing styles, and even sketched out some animation sequences, like a walk cycle. With these sketches in hand, I started modeling, armed with anim8r, a simple, free modeling program that came on a software compilation CD, something common in the days of slow internet. For weeks I tried to model a good female character, but failed because the program wasn't helpful. After all, if you don't know how to do something, don't learn, just blame the program, LOL. Finally, I realized that men figures are made of squares and women are made of curves, and I managed to create a female character (almost). Around that time, I found a program online, on a popular (legal) download site, that would improve the quality of my models, but also increase my production speed. This program was called Blender 2.43. With it, I was able to create models that, for me, at the time, were incredible. One of them was this model that I'm making available, of course, in a more recent version.

Well, now this model no longer belongs to me, but to those who want to learn how to create a 3D model, or to the independent game developer who does not have a good base model for their game.

You Spin Me Round Like a Record!!!

You can modify it, as well as use the animations embedded in other characters in your projects.

Use personal or commercial in:

  • - Your game projects (A, AA, AAA, mobile, etc.)
  • - Your animation projects (animations, movies, VFX)
  • - In studies (open, edit, modify, decompose)
  • - In game modifications (e.g., Inside City Skylines or Asseto Corsa MODs)
  • - You can modify textures, meshes, and add or remove elements. You can take ownership of the modified versions, but not the original unmodified (or slightly modified) version.
  • - You can freely distribute the model (original or modified) only to contributors to your projects, but never sell them as separate assets, either free or for a fee.
  • - Animations can be used through retargeting in other models in your project, but cannot be transferred separately, either free or for a fee.
  • - Credits are not required, but are welcome. And if you want to show me your project where you used the model, I'll promote it!

Casual Man with Polo Shirt - With VRCHAT VISEMES- TURNTABLE

Nice male character wearing jeans and polo shirt. Made with Blender, this character is low poly and will work well in Reatilme simulations like VR or AR, Computer Game Projects and even mobile games. Its casual look also makes it a great choice for ArchViz and virtual tours, and perhaps for distant renderings. Bundled in it is a collection of free animations that you can use with this character or perhaps redirect to other characters. There are two extra poses to help with the task, one is the T pose to set up the Unity Humanoid avatar and an A pose to help with the process of retargeting the Unreal Epic Skeleton character. This character also includes blend shapes (shape keys / morph targets) that can control facial expressions. Some of these are pre-configured to work as VRCHAT Visemas. Of course, you can use the same phonemes with Papagayo, a handy program for creating lip sync. verts : 1647/ faces: 1614/ Tris: 3200 Textures: Albedo - Color > 2k/ Normal Map ...

Business Man - Animated low-poly character

This 3d model is ideal for being used as an extra in architectonic visualizations. In addition, it can also be used for mobile games, augmented reality, and virtual reality. The model has textures 2k and a LOD version optimized for mobile. The default version of the model has Morph targets (AKA Shape Keys or Blend Shapes) in facial expressions. The model includes extra animations, which can easily be imported into Unreal Engine and Unity. In addition there are extra poses in the model to facilitate the re-target of the skeleton for both engines. Facil Expressions: eyes_closed smile - discret smile- left mouth corner smile- right mouth corner inflate cheeks expression - pissed off expression - contempt expression- sadness expression - fear expression - disgust expression - rage expression - surprise and a neutral expression called Basis Model Lod Version For Mobile

Captain Rosso Spriter Pro Animated Character

This project consists of a character made from pieces of images, imported into the BrashMonkey Spriter Pro software and animated in the style of cut out animations. The generated animations were pre-rendered into image sequences (PNG) that can be easily resized and imported into game development software that supports 2D Sprites, such as Unity, Godot or even the Unreal Engine. Characteristics Spriter Pro Project ( One Entity with 66 animations) 66 Pre-rendered Animations (multiple 840 x 840 PNG files) Affinity Designer Source File (Editable layered vectors for customization) SVG format converted (Editable object vectors for customization) PSD format converted (Editable layered bitmaps for customization) Usage Make it easy to prototyping your game using this character as a basis for creating your own characters, or use it as is. With the included Spriter Pro project you can modify parts of the character, add new ones and easily modify the 66 animations to your liking....
